Jobs in Portland: SUMMARY - Responsible for application engineering and sales of Automated Valves, Measurement & Instrumentation, Filtration, Process Heating and Industrial Automation products. Act as the primary company representative and maintain the highest level of integrity and customer relations while achieving the desired goals established by management. Perform onsite customer product presentations, training and technical support. Limited overnight travel required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned: • Meet or exceed sales goals and sustain growth with assigned account base • Develop, build, and maintain relationships with key customers and vendors • Perform technical products sales presentations to all levels of customers • Work closely with the inside sales group to develop quotation strategies • Assist in negotiation of commercial issues involved in purchasing process • Maintain customer relationship management database. • Provide accurate and timely reports for area of responsibility QUALIFICATIONS • Engineering degree preferred- will consider equivalent combination of education and sales experience • Knowledge and experience serving the variety of markets involved in the process control industry • Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage an assigned territory • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is mandatory, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Self Starter/ Highly Motivated • Strong interpersonal skills SALARY AND BENFITS • Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standards. • Benefits: Health / Life / Disability Insurance, 401K, Vacation. • Automobile allowance, Computer, Cell phone.
