Small company needs lead PHP programmer for Agile process (NE Portland)

Jobs in Portland OR: Hi! We're looking for a very special person, a senior software engineer with a lot of energy and experience, who knows how to build good systems quickly and can pull others along in the slipstream, producing systems quickly but with solid architecture, listening to stakeholders, doing whatever needs doing. Which is a lot. We're trying to put together a great programming team from fairly humble beginnings, just starting to build momentum. Need a hard worker with a sense of humor, but those with strong social skills need not apply. (Two of three rule: good engineer, good social skills, reasonable wage expectations). The system is being developed in PHP right now although we acknowledge its deficiencies. We'd like to move to Scala (or whatever is clever by that time), but that's not happening for probably two years. Still, it would be nice if you knew it (and a good sign, too). Agile experience is required. We're a small company, and we need to take advantage of it. Please have this kind of mentality. Work from home, 4/5 days anyhow.
