Local Jobs in Portland: Fast growing Portland business is looking for flexible & experienced baristas &/or catering professionals with excellent customer service skills (this position requires regular smiling) to serve our cafes and drop off catering business as needed (including on call shifts). The ideal candidate must possess: - significant barista &/or catering experience - cheerful disposition / excellent customer service skills - creativity & innovation Wonderful extras: - social media skills - cash register reconciliation experience - experience using catering software - excellent written & communication skills - computer skills One cafe is close in SE and the other is in industrial NW. Both are easily accessible by multiple bus lines. Hours generally fall between 6AM & 4PM, and most need is on weekdays. Flexibility is key. The schedule is determined by business needs, largely on call, and part time, especially initially. In addition to the cafes, we also have a quickly growing catering business. The more versatile one is, and the more ways one contributes to the business, the more hours one will get.
