Provide on-site technical support to staff and students to facilitate the introduction and support of new hardware and software as it pertains to technology. Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent experience in a related field, three years prior work experience involving the operation, selection, repair and training of technology based equipment and software. Knowledge of LAN operating technologies such as Mac OS X and Windows Server, current knowledge of computer systems and relationships between hardware and software with an emphasis on analyzing and solving associated problems. Duties include recommendation, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of technology equipment, serving as a technical resource to the district technology staff in the implementation of District needs, diagnosing and providing solutions to hardware/software problems, maintaining inventory control of school equipment and software use, and administering on-site security issues and LAN/network.
