Jobs in Portland OR: Ophthalmology practice in Canby seeking part time medical front office person. Must have excellent telephone and communication/people skills. Individual should be professional. Person should also be knowledgeable with practice management software and EHR (Chartlogic), experienced in discussing treatment and making financial arrangements with patients. Experience in Ophthalmology or Optometry office a plus. Spanish speaking desired but not required. Medical insurance billing experience a plus. Beginning hours would be 10-20 hours per week. Flexiblity needed on days worked. Job description includes: :: Answering multi-line phone system :: Scheduling patients and prepping records for upcoming appointments :: Managing patient check-in and check out, collecting co-pays, etc.. :: Insurance benefit verification. :: Insurance claim processing/communication. :: Assisting doctor with charts in EHR software. :: Must have current First Aid/ CPR certification or obtain one within 90 days of hiring. :: HIPAA trained We are looking for a self starting, detail oriented person with great organizational skills who can multi task.
