Jobs in Portland: We are a Christian non-profit organization looking for a full time Program Coordinator to start immediately in our Portland office. The desired individual would share our same Christian faith and have a passion for serving needy children in Africa. The job is heavy in Accounts Receivable responsibilities such as processing and tracking donations and pledges, creating invoices, processing bank deposits and preparing program reports. Other job responsibilities include written and verbal communication with donors, travel and event coordination, maintaining program database, manage mailings, write blogs and newsletter articles, and manage volunteer projects. Job requirements: Bachelors degree, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, experience in Quickbooks, extremely detail oriented, organized and neat, excellent verbal and written communication skills, 2 years experience as office assistant or proven strong admin background, friendly and warm voice on the phone. Must have reliable transportation during work hours for running errands.
