Jobs in Portland: Since 2009 IPSNW has provided fast, accurate, high quality, and on time preservation services for foreclosed homes in Oregon. We are constantly growing and are seeking licensed contractors to help cover Oregon. We need additional contractors in most counties. We have the highest paid preservation contractors in the state and are proud of our reputation among the industries largest lenders. Experienced contractors in property preservation will be moved to the top of the list. For immediate consideration, give us a brief explanation of your experience and some of the clients you have worked with and what counties you cover. License and Insurance: - Must be licensed with an active Oregon CCB. - Must be insured and bonded. - Must have a valid driver's license. Tools Needed: - Truck and Trailer or capability of hauling a large amount of garbage and furniture. - Day labor or crews to help with large trash outs, grass cuts, and other types of projects. - Lawn Maintenance equipment: mowers, weeders, sheers, etc.. - Electric Generator and Air Compressor - Digital Camera and Reliable Computer - Cell Phone capable of e-mail and text. - Start-up Money for the first 2-4 weeks (gas, lock inventory, tools, etc...) Important: Computer skills are essential! This is unlike a typical contractor job. It requires MINIMAL knowledge of construction and MORE knowledge of computers. You must be comfortable with resizing and uploading photos, e-mailing, navigating websites, filling out electronic forms, and keeping close communication with our office staff. Photos are very important. You must be capable of taking clear photos of your work. Without photos to justify your work, you will not receive payment. Most responsibilities include: Lock Changes (Knobs, deadbolts, slider locks, padlocks, hasps, etc...) Debris Removal (garbage, furniture, and occasionally hazardous chemicals, food, tires, etc...) Yard Maintenance (grass cuts, tree trimming, and weeding.) Winterizations Occasional handy work such as deck repairs, window replacements, carpet pulling, painting, mold remediation, roofing etc...
