We build custom IVR applications in support of Selectron Technologies' customers and business strategy. An established and steadily growing company, we continue to expand our products and markets. In this job posting, we're specifically seeking a talented, team- oriented, and intelligent Software Developer with three or more years experience to join our Voice applications team. The job: In a nutshell: design, develop, test and maintain top-quality IVR applications. You'll be working as a member of an experienced and highly productive development team. Engineering is key to what we do as a company, so expect to be in daily contact with people from many non-engineering departments and to collaborate with other internal and external engineers on projects. We're a Microsoft shop, but we integrate with all sorts of systems, and all sorts of people. One thing about the position- it's sure to be fluid, challenging and ever changing. It requires interaction, team troubleshooting, customer communications, and oh yeah, savvy development skills and creativity. What we're looking for: A talented software developer, with a few years of experience, who can demonstrate progressive, broad learning and talent through past positions and projects. We're interested in finding someone who is excited about software engineering, who has delivered software in the past that they are proud of, and who is interested in continuing to grow and learn as a software professional. We want someone who is realistic about software design decisions; someone with self-discipline to determine when to take time to design something beautiful, and when to just Get it Done. Required Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; 3+ years experience as a software developer, preferably in a smaller, fast paced shop  Played a pivotal role in delivering at least 2 commercial-quality solutions for external customers  Proficient in C# (we're a .NET shop) or Java  Solid SQL knowledge, including development and tuning efficient queries  Understanding of Web Services. Experience delivering and consuming Web Services  Experience with source code control systems and applied release management principles and techniques  Experience working with QA staff, implementing unit tests  Comfortable with ever-changing project needs and priorities, multi-tasking.
