Jobs in Portland: Pyro Pizza, a wood-fired pizza cart at 12th and Hawthorne is looking to add a person to its staff for the busy summer season. We are looking for a hard working, no-drama, easy going, happy person to add to our great working environment. We are not looking a for cocky rock star cook. The ideal candidate will have at least a year experience in "real" pizza making experience. (papa john's does not count) Experience running a wood fired oven would be a plus to your resume. Being a cart, all staff members are expected to interact with customers and work well in a very tight space. This job is heavily customer service oriented with the added element of helping with and baking pizzas eventually. This job is late night and starts as early as 6pm and goes until as late as 4am. It will start March 1st and will be Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings for now. As training is competed, the hours and responsibility will increase. For the next month, it will be 20 hours, but after that, it will work up to 35 hours This position is will start March 1st and pay $9 plus tips.
